Membership in the St. Louis Catholic Deaf Society is open to Catholic persons who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, their spouses, and any interested Catholic person. The Society has three classifications of membership: Active, Associate, and Honorary. The annual membership dues for each of the classifications is $5.00 per person. ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
Active members must be 18 years old paid their annual dues, participated in meetings and functions, and be: Deaf or hard-of-hearing practicing Catholics; or Those hearing, deaf, or hard-of-hearing religious or lay pastoral workers devoted to ministry with the Deaf; or A Catholic hearing spouse of a deaf and hard-of-hearing member.
Active Members may vote, hold office and submit amendments to the By-Laws.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Associate members must be at least 18 years of age, have paid their annual dues, and be hearing persons who have any active interest in the Chapter's purposes. May attend and assist at functions, but may not vote.
HONORARY MEMBERSHIP
This may be conferred on any person, through the suggestion of the Board and the consent of the membership.
